A Message from the Queen

“Darling, when I take the stage, I create more than just a moment—but a Public Speaking revolution in heels!

I’m transforming your typical powerpoint presentation into an unforgettable Educational Extravaganza!

No longer should audiences have to sit and suffer through a long and lifeless lecture.

I make sure to serve up a smorgasbord of insights with a generous sprinkle of glam. With every heartwarming ballad and every bop that hits harder than cupid's arrow, I weave my wisdom into a spectacle of sound, vision, and fabulousity.

So, if your soul craves a public speaking experience that shatters conventions, educates deeply, and lifts your spirits into the stratosphere, you've found your rightful Queen”

Advocacy through Artistry

During COVID, I lived in the small Canadian ski town of Fernie, BC and it was there that I first used my Drag to engage community in something important.

In 2021, The Task Force was trying to launch a Community wellbeing project around Grief Support for friends and family members dealing with the fallout of Suicide in their lives. The Task Force needed to engage the community to promote, fundraise and drive participation surrounding the new Grief Support groups for the Elk Valley.

So together we came up with this utterly bizarre project called the Fernie Dragathon!

Rallying local Kings and Queens

Essentially because the ski hill was one of the only community spaces still open during the pandemic, we decided to get Drag Queens out on the slopes for a fashion show endurance event to try and shine a rhinestone spotlight on mental health.

The Fernie Dragathon became a beacon of hope, bringing together the community in solidarity and support, and showcasing the powerful role of art and performance in advocating for mental health awareness.

This fabulous event combined the vivacity of drag culture with the serious mission of raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention.

Did you hear me on CBC Radio?

I got up ridiculously early to chat with the CBC about the Fernie Dragathon, mental health in Mountain Towns and how you can support the work of the Elk Valley Suicide Task Force
